Therapy for Moms in Golden, Colorado
& Online Across CO, MA, FL
You’ve sacrificed enough—it’s time to get the support you deserve.
“Tired” feels like the understatement of the century.
And it doesn’t seem like you’ll be able to take a real break or get quality rest until your kids have graduated and moved away. This level of exhaustion has worn down your patience, and you’ve been getting irritated or angry with your children and partner more and more easily. Every outburst leaves you filled with guilt and worried that you’re just like the adults you resented in your childhood.
Maybe you’ve also been…
Wishing your life felt more fulfilling and joyful—and then feeling ashamed for even having those thoughts
Overwhelmingly anxious about your kids’ grades, social lives, health, and future in this uncertain world
Feeling misunderstood or judged by family, teachers, or other parents, and wondering why everyone but you seems to have parenting figured out
Finding small ways to “hide” from responsibilities—like scrolling on your phone in the bathroom or wandering around Target
Feeling disconnected from or at war with your body, and wish you could feel good about yourself after all the physical changes you’ve been through
Wondering whether you might be neurodivergent—possibly due to your child receiving an ADHD or autism diagnosis

As a mom myself—I get it.
The way you’re feeling doesn’t make you “crazy” or a “bad parent.”
It just means your needs have been backburnered for too long.
I know firsthand how overwhelming, exhausting, and isolating it can feel to juggle everything while trying to show up for your kids and yourself. Throughout our work together, I'll offer you lots of warmth, understanding, and encouragement—because I've been there and I know how hard it can be to ask for help.
My approach
Together, we’ll navigate the path from burned-out to badass.
Over the past 25+ years working with kids, teens, and parents, I’ve found resources and strategies that have helped me create more ease in my own life—and I’d love to share that with you.
In our sessions, we’ll dig deep into the roots of what’s been holding you back, but we’ll also create space to rest, play, and connect with your natural creativity.
Whether it’s through gentle parts work to nurture those younger, more vulnerable parts of yourself, or using EMDR to reprocess old memories that still weigh on you, we’ll work together to let go of those heavy, self-critical beliefs. Therapy is a place where we can finally carve out time for you, and explore ways to create more joy and balance in your day-to-day life.
You’ll also gain tools to calm your nervous system when life gets overwhelming, learn how to navigate tricky situations like school meetings or finding resources for your kids, and reconnect with the version of you that feels empowered and engaged. Therapy with me is about more than just healing, it’s about discovering how to feel alive again and show up for your loved ones with a full, joyful heart.

I have a lot of experience working with kids (both as a therapist and as a mom myself), but I’m not seeing children at this time. I also don’t currently offer family therapy sessions. My focus is on working with individual moms and tailoring sessions to their unique needs and goals.
However, my years of experience with kids and families has helped me accumulate a wealth of resources—including school and community resources, parenting coaches (in-person and online) and wonderful therapist colleagues I trust who do specialize in therapy for kids, teens, and families—which I’d be happy to pass along to you.

For moms, I often weave together EMDR, expressive arts therapy, nature-based practices, and IFS-informed parts work. Each of these approaches helps address the unique challenges moms face, from juggling responsibilities to navigating the big emotions that come with parenting. We’ll choose the methods that feel most helpful for you as we go.

This work can help with feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, managing depression, setting and keeping boundaries, and finding more emotional balance. It can also provide tools for navigating those moments when life feels overwhelming or you’re running on empty. The goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected to yourself, and supported in the roles you take on every day.
